I published this about long time ago…I imagined I would delay until the day after Xmas in situation some of you are discouraged. If you already know this one, I’ll be rear again again soon with a new tip or no cost journal offer!
Sometimes, I am astounded by what problems pop up on the Amazon Ereader pieces, but I take a take a phase rear again again and recognize there are a lot of new Ereader entrepreneurs out there who have not owned or operated or handled or managed a Ereader (or may not be as up on technology) offering some of the other Ereader entrepreneurs have.
Let’s think for example you have, or are considering buying, a new Ereader that is WiFi only. Being WiFi only indicates (a) you are not able to go to the Web or Amazon’s Whispernet solutions via the mobile strategy, and (b) you must have an effective WiFi strategy to be able to advantage the Whispernet assistance. Sure, you can still attain plans to your Ereader via the USB series, but you will need some type of over-the-air strategy if you select not to go the USB route.
If you do not have a wifi strategy in the house and want one, it is simple enough to do (if I can decide it out, anyone can). However, that is not the objective of this publish – if you do not know how to do it I would suggest going to a Best Buy or identical keep as they can help you out easily.
If you have a wifi strategy set up in the house, or have use of one at work, Local bistro, etc. you can easily set up your wifi strategy to your WiFi Kindle; you can do the same if you have the new Ereader that has both wifi and WiFi – you will just need to set up the strategy. Here is how you do it:
■Press the “Home” key.
■Press the “Menu” key.
■Scroll down and select the “settings” choice.
■Scroll down to the “Wi-Fi Settings” choice, which on my Ereader si the third choice, just below “Device Name.”
■You will see a collection of available WiFi plans. If you do not, select the “rescan” choice.
■If you see the one you want – select the “connect” choice.
■If it specifications you for a value – if so, get into it then. If, for example, you are at a Local bistro or other enterprise that provides no cost Also and it still specifications you for a value, ask one of the employees: I’m sure they will be energized to tell you (although you may have to buy java or something).
